The BL7703 ECP is our solution to the heavy duty specification, ideal for high traffic areas. To comply with fire regulations, this unit comes supplied with an included intumescent kit to suit 30 and 60 minute timber fire doors. This variation of the BL7703 ECP series comes with a tubular latch, available with a lockcase with a 60mm backset. The BL7700 ECP models have a built-in key override in the lever/knob handle; this utilises a SFIC (small format interchangeable core) cylinder. This is a new type of key override system for Borg Locks, whereby rotation of the key engages the lever/knob handle, making it ideal for use with potentially heavily sprung third-party locks. The keypad lever/knob is free rotating and only engages with the clutch and 8mm spindle drive until the correct code of key is entered.
